The Staebel Zonecare 50 Medical Mattress consists of three layers of pressure-sensitive memory foam at differing densities to provide pressure re-distribution. The lower layer is a high-density foam construct, so the patient won’t “bottom out.” The mattress can accommodate a wide range of user weights, and the firm surrounds enable independent bed transfers and mobility.
The cover is durable, water-resistant and vapour-permeable to minimise the negative impact of moisture accumulation at the skin and surface interface, supporting microclimate management. Lastly, the base of the cover is made of durable PVC to promote longevity and prevent product wear due to sliding. This mattress is available in a range of sizes and has been designed to deliver a cost-effective solution across healthcare environments.
