The mattress can function as a reactive support surface when the pump is not applied, or as an active support surface to provide alternating therapy when the pump is applied. The sophisticated yet cost-effective hybrid mattress design provides effective comfort and pressure redistribution whilst also offering firm surrounds to enable independent bed transfers.

The Staebel Total Flow Hybrid is designed with four removable gel-infused foam heel cells, which provide the ability to offload pressure in this pressure injury-prone anatomical region. Additionally, the pillow region ensures that motion sickness is not encountered when the alternating therapy is activated.
