The Staebel Opticell AIR1 reactive hybrid mattress is an advanced hybrid mattress designed to meet the high standards of healthcare and the needs of the end user. With its foam-free air cells, the AIR1 has performance data to support its low pressure, providing excellent pressure relief and comfort (42/44 mm/Hg). The OptiTex™ cover has been tested and complies with being vapour permeability, water resistant, hydrostatic and 4-way stretch.
The OptiCell Air1 is completely silent as it has no electric pump and therefore is well suited for regions with unstable power supply or prone to power outages. The included hand pump is used to check and adjust the air pressure in various sections across the mattress. This mattress combines selected foams to promote immersion and envelopment, key factors in pressure injury prevention. Lastly, the Staebel Opticell AIR1 is fitted with a pressure relief system, meaning there are integrated airlocks that enable the easy disconnection of air cell/s where additional pressure redistribution is required across the surface.
